Adam Kiefer is the CEO of Talage, an insurtech focused on developing digital distribution software solutions for commercial insurance that transforms the quoting process for agents and insurance companies.

As CEO, Kiefer oversees Talage’s insurance product management and development, including compliance and customer success efforts. Before co-founding Talage, he served as vice president of Small Business Banking for Zions Bancorp, working with small commercial clients to drive growth under the Nevada State Bank brand through acquisition of new banking and business relationships. During his time there, Kiefer built partnerships with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and with the Small Business Development Commission (SBDC) in Northern Nevada.

Kiefer was the Western Region sales manager for Employers Insurance Group (Employers) prior to joining Zions Bancorp. In his role with Employers, Kiefer profitably grew premium in the region through the effective management of the company’s independent agent sales channel, while overseeing the strategy and execution of new business acquisition as well as maintaining underwriting standards. He led the implementation of a sales efficiency program for Employers for the Nevada Restaurant Association, CUNA Mutual Insurance, and the Montana Hospitality and Lodging Association.

Kiefer began his career in insurance with Wells Fargo Insurance Services where he started as a front-line commercial insurance producer before being promoted to Wells Fargo Bank Liaison. In that role, Kiefer gained firsthand experience leading cross-sell initiatives in Nevada and Northern California which increased the company’s depth of relationships with commercial banking customers and increased bank fee income through insurance products.

Kiefer is active in volunteering, currently serving as a trustee for United Cerebral Palsy, a board member for Northern Nevada Community Housing, and a Young Leaders Committee Member for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.
