Business Development Specialist – Full Time

Business Development Specialists will work closely with our Regional Business Development Leaders to ensure our customers receive the product and service that they expect from Talage.  We are looking for someone who can jump in and help run our customer support playbook.  This is a great opportunity to grow with our organization as the customer success team grows.

Talage is the API solution for quoting and binding commercial insurance – accelerating growth for all players by helping them to leverage technology within the insurance ecosystem. With 30+ carrier integrations, Talage delivers instant, bindable quotes across five product lines. The platform is leveraged by agents, wholesalers, carriers, and technology providers.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual that is comfortable communicating with insurance agents both proactively and reactively via phone, video, and email.  While insurance expertise isn’t required, we need someone who is excited about diving into the InsureTech space.

  • Experience conducting an in-depth onboarding experience for new customers
  • Comfortable owning relationships with multiple customers and managing communications
  • Able to navigate challenges and objections from partners in real-time discussions
  • Comfortable being the first line of support for customer product questions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales and support tools preferred
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
  • Experience with Google business applications

Location:

We are based in Reno, NV with most employees living locally and a few that commute in from the Lake Tahoe area.  We are also open to remote candidates for this position.
